Event Description:

Smartphones and tablets hold great language learning potential in and out of the classroom. Numerous apps, games, and websites can be used to engage students during lessons and to extend their learning during their free time. This interactive workshop will instruct teachers in the use and implementation of various phone-based activities designed to serve students of varying proficiency levels. Although instructors of complete beginners and advanced students will have the opportunity to adapt resources for their level, the workshop is geared toward supporting students from the pre-intermediate to upper intermediate level. Participants will have the opportunity to create and tailor materials to all levels and needs using the resources presented. Participants should have at least a basic comfort level with using smartphones and tablets.
