ASISTS Basics/Data Entry Training
Presenter: Kate Tornese, ASISTS Associate Director
Morning Refreshments and Working Lunch Provided
This training will walk users through all of the new ASISTS Data Entry screens, with explanations of “why” data is collected as well as “where” to enter it. Additionally, a review of basic security policies, procedures, and best practices will be included.
NOTE: This training is usually not held in a computer lab. Attendees are welcome to bring their own laptop to follow along, but the training is less about the mechanics of data entry and more about the underlying logic of the data collected.
This training is meant for new users, but more experienced users are welcome.
This 6 hour training counts toward the 14 hours of professional development requirement for all NYSED funded program staff.
